WELCOME TO BARROW

Over 20 years ago, I started becoming increasingly aware of the interconnectedness of our bodies to nature and everything around us and have been studying it ever since. I’ve always been wildly curious with understanding how things work, how they fit together and why. As far as our bodies are concerned, food is our foundation. This has become clear to me throughout my own health journey (which I share about here). What you feed yourself feeds EVERY SINGLE CELL in your entire body. And what is nourishment for one person can be quite the opposite for another.

So many of us suffer from one or more symptoms signaling our bodies are out of homeostatsis, or equilibrium...fatigue, anxiety/depression, digestive issues, difficulty sleeping, attention issues, brain fog, difficulty conceiving, autoimmune diseases, food sensitivities, allergies, hormonal dysregulation…the list goes on. I am passionate about helping you resolve these symptoms, feel your best and thrive. Through a combination of nutrition, cutting-edge testing, supplements, lifestyle changes and a clean environment, these symptoms that have become a part of your norm can be resolved. Our bodies have an innate intelligence to heal themselves if we give them the tools to do so.  I am thrilled to be a part of a community that has helped so many people, including myself, restore, regenerate and heal.

What is Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy centers on the idea that real health can be achieved through a bio-individual approach to nutrition and lifestyle. Each person is a unique individual with highly individualized nutritional requirements. Personal differences in anatomy, metabolism, body composition and cell structure all influence your overall health and what foods are beneficial to you. Many of modern society’s health problems result from weaknesses in the body’s physiological foundations brought on by poor nutrition. Unfortunately, the modern diet has led the majority of us down a road of dysregulation (impairment in the regulation of a metabolic, physiological, or psychological process) and disease. Nutritional Therapy focuses on the importance of a properly prepared, nutrient dense, whole food diet paired with a well-balanced lifestyle. We honor the body’s own feedback system and its incredible capacity to self-correct. (NTA)
